The launch of our collaboration with DeerGarden Ltd. was one of the most comprehensive projects of 2020. This public space construction and maintenance company utilized nearly the full spectrum of our services. Today, we have completely taken over and operate their marketing activities.

ABOUT DEERGARDEN

DeerGarden is a well-known Hungarian company in park and public space maintenance.. Their work can be seen in many places, including the renewal of Bikás Park and the reconstruction of Pillangó Park, as well as the maintenance of public spaces in districts VII, Újpest, and Újbuda.

Their activities are largely community-focused, yet the cleanliness and order they ensure often go unnoticed by residents. They utilize cutting-edge technology in their tree care and cleaning processes, relying on real-time data.

FOUNDATIONS OF THE DIGITAL MARKETING STRATEGY AT DEERGARDEN

We start every project with a digital strategy audit to evaluate the client’s online presence, market positioning, and industry dynamics.

While DeerGarden had a website, it wasn’t indexed by Google, making it invisible for relevant searches like “park maintenance.” Fortunately, they already had a strong visual library of high-quality photos and videos, which made our work much easier.

STRATEGIC GOALS & BENCHMARKS

DeerGarden’s primary objective with its online presence was to increase public awareness and communicate the company’s professionalism. While residents are not direct clients, they are the primary beneficiaries of DeerGarden’s work. Social media provides an excellent platform for increasing awareness.

Additionally, the brand identity needed to reflect both professionalism and the high technological standard of their services. Their website had to effectively showcase their projects, activities, and developments.

Since few companies in Hungary have a strong online presence in this industry, we looked internationally for benchmarks. We analyzed the digital footprints of major park maintenance companies and organizations, focusing on those that have built significant trust and represent a high professional standard.

One standout example is The Royal Parks (UK), known for their community engagement programs, strong social focus, and nature-oriented branding. We positioned DeerGarden similarly in the Hungarian market.

IMPLEMENTATION OF MARKETING TOOLS WITH BRAND REDESIGN

The company’s only existing visual identity element was its logo, making a redesign a low-risk but high-impact change. The new logo aligns with modern design trends and visually represents the company’s name and activities.

Additionally, we created a comprehensive brand identity, covering both online and offline appearances. The color scheme reflects reliability and high-quality services, forming the basis for the website’s design.

We also produced an image video, showcasing DeerGarden’s most prestigious projects. Video content is a powerful engagement tool, capturing attention at the top of the website and performing well on social media.

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Before designing the website, we created a wireframe, like a logical blueprint of the site’s structure. Compared to the previous simple website, we built a more complex, informative structure that enhances navigation and supports SEO goals.

We analyzed international benchmarks to create an optimal menu system. The new website, built on solid technical foundations, features content optimized for relevant keywords like “park maintenance” and “park construction”.

ESTABLISHING A SOCAL MEDIA PRESENCE

We built DeerGarden’s professional digital footprint across all relevant platforms:

  • Google My Business: Ensures that essential company information (such as photos and opening hours) appears in Google search results, increasing credibility.
  • Facebook: Reaches the broadest public audience, supports blog content sharing, drives traffic to the website, and aids in recruitment. Job postings published here attracted relevant applicants.
  • Instagram: Showcases beautifully maintained parks, green spaces, and modern playgrounds through visual storytelling.
  • YouTube: Hosts drone footage of projects and the image video, which is easily embedded in blog posts and social media.

ONGOING MARKETING MANAGEMENT

We maintain regular blog updates for DeerGarden, with 1-2 posts per month, serving two key purposes: keeping the public informed about their activities and boosting SEO rankings through keyword-optimized content.

Topics include park and public space maintenance, tree care, municipal cleaning, and sustainable space management. The website features a section showcasing maintained areas by district, allowing residents to see DeerGarden’s services in their neighborhoods. We also highlight their QTA system and the importance of specialized tree care to raise awareness.

COMMUNITY-ORIENTED SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT

DeerGarden’s Facebook following grew organically from the start. We oversee consistent content creation and communication, steadily building brand awareness.

A recently launched educational post series visually and informatively reinforces the brand identity and captures attention.

Reporting & traffic monitoring

After just a few months of collaboration, organic website traffic started increasing, thanks to Google indexing the new site.

Developing the digital strategy, brand identity, web presence, and social media presence required several months of effort, but the results have been highly visible and impactful.

Although we are still at the beginning of the journey, all necessary tools are in place for our marketing division’s continued success in driving DeerGarden’s growth.
